The eco-friendly restaurant won in 2007 the 1st price of the architectural competition organized by the city of Järvenpää in Finland. The restaurant is realized in Honka Fusion™ log, the innovation of Honka in 2008. Milla Hannonen together with Honka, designed the restaurant using the new log Honka Fusion™ combined with other building materials to give the modern touch.
The location of the restaurant is between the shore of lake Tuusulanjärvi and the centre. The ultra modern architecture of this building has its façade totally covered by big windows towards the lake with fine views and the other façade is closed towards the town and the street.
Uniquely, the restaurant offers also spa services. Enjoy a sauna before your meal. You have a fine view over the shore from the hot tub.
The pre-engineered energy efficient Honka Fusion™ structure is painted dark grey from outside as well as one wall inside. A light translucent white is chosen for the inside walls. The ceilings are made from white lacquered birch plywood. All colours are natural for the well-being of the clients.
